    Understanding Transactions, FinOps, and Invoices

Learn the difference between Valerium's three main financial modules and how they complement each other to give you complete cash-flow visibility.

Valerium's Financial module is organized into three complementary areas: Transactions (raw Open Finance data), FinOps (financial analysis and planning), and Invoices (client billing). Understanding the role of each helps you get more out of the platform.

    Transactions

The Transactions area displays data imported directly from bank accounts via Open Finance. Here you see the consolidated statement from all connected accounts, corporate card entries, and the approval status of transactions requiring review.

    FinOps

FinOps is the analysis and planning module. It aggregates data from Open Finance, active contracts, and invoice receivables to generate cashflow views, budget by category, and a simplified income statement. It is the right place to answer questions like 'What is my monthly result?' or 'Am I within budget?'.

    Invoices

The Invoices module is for client billing. You issue charges, connect Stripe, track the status of each invoice, and manage gateway connections. Received amounts automatically enter FinOps as reconciled receivables.

The intelligence that runs your business.
